Our fabulous diva friends over at Madame Noire scoop the news on the big win for “the Help” actress Viola Davis – she takes home the SAG Award convincing the media that this is the set up for solid surefire Oscar night glory dance – Octavia Spencer also won for best supporting actress… here’s the buzz from MN’s blog and our share on QG WD;
“You know what they say, once you win a Screen Actor’s Guild award, you’re pretty much a shoe in for the Oscar. Hopefully, this is the case for Viola Davis who recently won the “Best Actress” award for her role in the summer blockbuster “The Help.” Overall, it was a good night for the film, which won several awards.”
