That is the London show and designers have arrived in Los Angeles for LA Market and Fashion Week. The British Fashion Council kicked off the three day brand showcase with Hollywood panache at its opening night cocktail party last night at Smashbox Studios.
Marisa Tomei and Emma Roberts joined celebrity stylists Jessica Pasteur and Jeanne Yang and LA’s ‘Who’s Who of Fashion’ to toast Britain’s top designers. Nicholas Kirkwood, Jonathan Saunders, Roksanda Ilincic and Todd Lynn are just a few of the British designers who are in town for the event.
There was plenty to chat about with award show season concluding and fashion weeks around the world winding down. But the focus is on next season as designer’s preview their Fall collections from March 13 to 15 by appointment at Ace Gallery.
ACE Gallery also hosted Fashion Group International’s “Meet the Designer and the Muse” fundraiser to raise money for scholarships for fashion students, with Vanessa Williams, Kevan Hall, Jamie Chung and Jenny Han, among others.
