So here’s how this is going to work; Beginning May 1st, 2012 through May 31st, 2012 the Curvy Bridal Bash Giveaway will be open to all participants who answer the question, “How will winning the QG Curvy Bridal Bash Giveaway make your wedding day perfect?” QG wants to know all the details, don’t spare a single thing – we will select one very lucky winner from the list of participating entries here on the QG WD blog. Our giveaway winner will be carefully chosen by our QG staff and we will announce on June 1st, 2012 right here and on our Queen Grace Facebook page.

How would winning this contest make my wedding day perfect? Well there are so many reasons, and you guys have said don’t leave out any details, so here I go. My fiance and I are going on 6 years together, we have been engaged since 2010, and we were supposed to be married in 2011. Due to money issues, our wedding was postponed till this year. On Mother’s day last year I was hit with the bomb that it would not happen, and the wedding was supposed to be that October. This May, I won’t get excited about the wedding till after the month passes, just a little good luck charm, so I don’t curse it and the wedding still happens. Waiting another whole year put a lot of stress on us, but it has made us even stronger as a couple. What I feel makes our wait even more special, is we are both virgins, we are waiting till marriage for our first night. The reason is somewhat religious on my part but more than anything, a respect thing on both our parts. We do not need to know how good we are in the sack in order to know if we should marry, that’s always been our mindset. And well, of course when it’s that big of a night, you want the best lingerie. But finding it is another thing entirely, I have had a total of nearly 3 years of looking, and still have yet to find the perfect lingerie, then I saw this. Being 285 pounds and 5 foot 2 inches makes finding this kind of opportunity too good to not try for it. Especially considering I want to make a boudoir book of me for him, with our wedding night lingerie as the main photos. I have so many special plans for this night, but the problem also is, we both work part time. I work as a retail associate, and he works in a market, together, we do not bring that much home a week, not enough for to surprise him with all the things I want to on our wedding day. I looked at everything involved in the package, the jewelry, which I have been stressing over for my dress because I cannot find anything that matches it, the invitations look GORGEOUS! And that white dress is so beautiful, I just lit up when I saw the advertisement for the contest. I have actually left my firefox open for roughly a week with this tab up, refreshing it till the contest came up. It’s now about 8:40 am. I couldn’t wait to get up and enter this contest! For so many reasons, winning this would mean the world to me, and would help me out greatly. My wedding is October 5th of this year, it’s getting down to the wire. But nothing would make me happier right now than being seriously considered a winner for this contest! I have spread the news to other plus sized brides I know, so we shall see who wins! Winning this package would mean a great deal to me and my fiance. We’re slightly older with limited budgets. Our wedding is going to be rather small (80 ppl or less) and we’re doing almost everything ourselves. We’re getting married on New Year’s Eve so it’s going to be a great time for all and winning the “extras” will make it all the better.

I am planning this wedding for 130 people on a bare bones budget. I am doing everything I can to keep the budget down and know that if I don’t win or find amazing deals on things like this I wont be able to have them at my wedding. I have been DIYing projects and enlisting everyone who could possibly help. Having something special for me that I wouldn’t be able to afford without winning this would be amazing!

Our wedding is planned for September 15,2012, Right now my fiance is bringing in the only income with his air force salary and they just cut his hours down. Money is the main reason my man and I are delaying our wedding, or even getting officially engaged. As part of the Millennials/Gen Y, we got out of school right as the economy tanked. I’ve had 4 jobs in 4 years, and my guy has to work 2 part time jobs. We live relatively far from our families and hometowns, but would like everyone special in our lives to join us. Winning this prize would mean more money to be spent on a bigger guest list, better bar setup, and possibly kicking in some funds to bring people from out of town in to celebrate.
When I was the shy, bigger girl growing up I always worried no one would love me and I’d wind up alone. Meeting my sweetie makes that thought just fade completely. I’d love for everyone in the world to see how happy he will make me on our wedding day.

One of the best things about any wedding day is feeling beauty and confident and wonderful. Finding elements that will make that happen would make my wedding day PERFECT.
I have to admit, finding a wedding dress has been discouraging. I am having a beach wedding (via a cruise!) and I want something lovely to go with my lvoely wedding. Going into boutiques that tell you that they don’t have dresses in your size is the EXACT opposite of how you’d ever want to feel about being a bride. One place seemed to be concerned that, since I was considering a strapless dress, that my arms would be showing. ???. It stung.
I firmly believe that my size does not reflect my beauty – I radiate that through my confidence, enthusiasm for life and the joy I find in the people I have in my life. Beautiful accoutrements tailroed to your size certainly make you feel wonderful and pretty and just… yay.
Regardless of whether you’re a size 2 or 22, EVERY woman deserves to feel amazing on their wedding day. Any thoughts otherwise should be banished. I’m marrying a man that loves me EXACTLY the way I am, and I am SO happy!

Last year, I married. Not in the least way I wanted. My wedding was in a horrible little temple in India. We essentially eloped. I was delirious from illness, never got to wear my white dress, I didn’t understand a word of it and the officiant kept answering his mobile!
Now, my husband and I are planning the wedding we always wanted. Oddly enough, he is very interested in this is well. I want to give him the day he’s always wanted. It’s been a tough year for him too. Since we are going through the immigration process, we have to be separated. We are hoping that this will only refine our marriage.
It’s all about the money here. Since we will be living on my income, where ever we can save is essential. If we win this giveaway, it would be ever so helpful and uplifting.

why would this make a HUGE difference for someone like me? well there are many reasons. my fiance and i have been together almost 4 years and had been close friends for 4 years prior to that. we have an amazing 19 month old son. im going to be honest and just put it out there that we are broke as a joke. no seriously i mean it. we had put back the wedding because of budget and baby but i honestly don’t want to wait any more. plus i told my wonderful future husband that i will NOT have any more children while unmarried (its a headache and REALLY rubs it in that your not already married. its a total self esteem booster…. not.) our wedding budget (3/14/2013) is a meager $1500. imagine telling vendors that and having them laugh at you… its great. because of the tight budget non essentials are not going to be an option. my dress is going to be from ebay most likely and nothing special in the realm of accessories (ie nothing). we cant afford stationary so we have be planning on doing e-invites and sending a card to those members of our families that are not online. i know its tacky but its what we have to work with. our honeymoon is probably not going to be anytime near our wedding i we are even able to to have one at all so i have not even thought about what to do for anything sexy.and honestly even if i did probably couldn’t afford it on our budget anyway. winning this contest would mean a lot to us because its things that we would not be able to have otherwise. at this point things i can only dream of having. everything about this package is so amazing that i cant help but try here. its not every day you find something this awesome plus stuff that will actually FIT! being on the hefty side kinda makes you loose hope sometimes of feeling beautiful especially for something as important as your wedding. thank you for hosting this giveaway and good luck on picking a winner all of these entries are awesome

How would winning this contest make my wedding day perfect? My fiancee and I are both hard working, caring and loving. Each of us have three children from previous relationships. Most of our money goes to supporting these kids, so our dream of a wedding that includes our uniting two families, is VERY limited budget wise.
Donnie and I met online. Shortly after meeting, I was diagnosed with cancer. He has stood next to me through it all. If it wasn’t for the support of my parents and friends, we wouldn’t be able to have a wedding at all. This contest allows us to have the wedding we always dreamed of! We are so excited to unite our children, our families, our friends.
It would be a DREAM COME TRUE to win this contest!! But in my heart, I know, that even if we don’t….our day will still be amazing, because our love is strong and real, and we don’t need much….just each other and our kids.

My honey and I are getting married September 15, 2012. It is second weddings for both of us, and we never thought we would do it again. Then we met each other. I am so blessed to have this man in my life. We wont ever have alot of money, but we will have each other and our families. The phrase, “Build it and they will come,” is known to all, and I am entering this contest to make fate happen! “Enter it and he will ask:” in other words, one can’t push a man to propose, he has to be ready; but if I push and say enough positive thoughts out into the world, he will propose; then I will be prepared!!! I could never find everything I wanted for the perfect wedding for me, but winning this contest could certainly provide it without me even stressing about it. I am 65, have been divorced since 1975,am a retired school teacher, still teaching special ed kids, and I have found the perfect man for me. He has just had many bad experiences with women and I am the first perfect woman for him that he has found; he just doesn’t know it:) I believe if I win this contest, fate will prevail and he will propose. He really thinks I’m the brightest spot he’s ever found, but is just very careful.
